How to soft mod in halo 2

FTPHalo 2 Maps off your Xbox - This requires the link above.AIO v2 - Click HERE for more info on this program. *Requires .Net Framework v2*CMRv2 *Requires .Net Framework v2*.NET Framework V2 - Click HERE for more details on .NET Framework. If you can't get AIO V2 or CMRv2 to work, then this is probably why!Overview - What this tutorial will teach you:Auto-aimChanging the ammo amountsFully AutomaticRun fastJump highChanging weapon damageGETTING YOUR MAP TO LOAD!!! aka Resigning the map.~*NOTE*~ Before we start, make sure you have installed AIO V2 to your computer. Once you have it installed, it will be located in you START>ALL PROGRAMS section under All in One v2. Run that program and then we can start. Please make a backup of your clean map files. To do this, just make a new folder and save a copy of all the maps to it. This will save most of you many headache's.Let's Start!Open DotHalo up.Open the map you wish to mod (If you do not have the maps on your computer yet, look in the requirements above for the proper links).Auto-AimGo to your [weap] Weapon tag.Press the plus sign to expand it. Go near the bottom of the weapons and choose sniper_rifle.The tag editor will open up for you to edit the tag (duh). Look below for the things I changed and change them to what I have. After you made those changes, go over to Save Changes on the tags window.Super JumpNear the top, click the [bipd] Biped tag. Either choose \elite_mp or \masterchief_mp or when you are done with one, you can change the other. Do whatever changes you want. See the descriptions I give below.Run FastNow, go down in the Tags window and near the middle you will see [matg] Globals. Expand it and click global\globals.If you want, change any of those boxes to whatever you want. I usually change the walking/crouching speeds to about 10 or so and change the acceleration to about 20. But do what you want, this is just a guide.1 Hit KillsNow, we are going to change the damage the projectile does when it hits someone. Even though this will not matter for the sniper, this is good to know for your other weapons. Go down to [jpt!] Damage Effect.Click \sniper_rifle_bullet near the bottom of the list. You will always want to choose the bullet when changing the damage on it.Now change these values to get one shot kills. Now, go to Save Changes on your Tags window again. Close the map.Rapid Fire aka Automatic WeaponsOpen up H2X (Can be found in AIO V2). Go to FILE>OPEN and open up the map you were just editing in DotHalo. When the map opens, I suggest making the window larger because when you go to save, the save changes option will be hidden.Go down to [weap] Weapon tag and then click on sniper_rifle. Go to the left after the sniper is highlighted and click Meta Editor. It should look like this now.Now click on Firing Type. Change the Trigger ID to a 0 (0 means Fully Automatic).Go to Projectile and change the Trigger Delay to 0 and make sure your Muzzle Climb is at 0. And I like to change the Bullets Per Shot to 3, but you can leave it at 1 if you want.Save Changes by clicking the one on the bottom right first and then click the Save Changes all the way to the left second.(Black is first thing to click and Red is second thing to click)Resigning your MapNow you have a Fully Automatic Sniper Rifle. Exit out of h2x and open the map back up in DotHalo. Go to Fix Encryption. Click OK.You can exit out of DotHalo now. But you are not finished yet.Resigning the Maps aka Getting them to load properlyIf you do not follow this part, you will get FAILED TO LOAD MAP.Download CMRv2 if you haven't already - CMRv2Open CMRv2Click Open Map and choose the map you just finished modding. When it opens, press Resign Map.CONGRATULATIONS! You just modded your first map! Let's see if it works! Now you are ready to FTP the map back to your Xbox and try it out. It should work now! If you dont know how to FTP, look at the links in the REQUIREMENTS section at the very top of this post!© AzzidReign at Se7en SinsOther Tutorials of InterestHow to make a Cheating ModHow to Use a PPFHow to Make a PPF - So you can show us YOUR mods! How to Skin Halo 2Adding Maps to the MainMenu.map

How to stand by in halo 2

To stand by in halo 2 you obiously need a router, and xbox live. What is standbying? Standbying is a reconnection of halo 2 which basically can make everyone laggy, except you. If you get lucky, everyone will go to blue screen, except you. How do I standby? To standby, you need to have connection host. Once you do, there should be a button on your router that says "stand by." In a game, you press it and wait for the standby light to flash and click it again. Either everyone will basically go back 20 steps except you, or they will go to blue screen while you can run around.
